At the heart of every Mobility Roadshow is the unique opportunity for drivers and passengers with disabilities to test drive a range of adapted and specialist vehicles and try new adaptations - remember to bring your driving licence (and acquire the code from DVLA up to 21 days in advance).
Some test drive options may only be open to full licence holders; however if you are a young or novice driver, or only have a provisional licence, then you should head for the Get Going Live! feature at the show, which is dedicated to those who are new to adapted motoring.
Get Going Live! also offers the opportunity for ANY visitor to review a variety of vehicle adaptations, from basic push-pull controls to hi-tech options, including drive-from-wheelchair models, and discuss what suits your particular needs with experts.
If you don't wish to test drive, you can simply discuss options for your specific motoring needs with a range of experts and suppliers at the show.
All visitors wishing to test drive must register to do so – whether licence holders, passengers for wheelchair-accessible vehicles, or those for the Get Going Live! feature. You can pre-register in advance or on the day at the show but you will still need to bring your code from DVLA to replace your counterpart licence.
