Loopwheels introduce new range of Ergonomic Carbolife Push Rims to The Mobility Roadshow
12th April 2016
British manufacturer Loopwheels is celebrating its first year selling shock-absorbing suspension wheels for wheelchairs by introducing a range of new Carbolife ergonomic push rims to the Mobility Roadshow.
GOOD DESIGN MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE TO WHEELCHAIR USERS!
Carbolife Curve are innovative push rims developed in Germany. They’ve been selling in Europe since 2014 and are recommended by all German spinal injury centres. These push rims are designed to fit the contour of the human hand much better than traditional rims. The rims offers a greater surface area for braking and changing direction, as well as better pressure distribution to prevent brake burning. Propulsion is easy on the joints and saves energy. The overall result? A relaxed, safe and sustainable ride.
Loopwheels are made in Nottinghamshire and sell around the world. Loopwheels’ distinctive looks stand out from the crowd. But it’s the amazing performance over rough ground and uneven pavements that really seals the deal for most customers. The wheel’s carbon composite springs absorb jolts, bumps and shocks to give a much smoother ride.
Co-founder Gemma Pearce says: “We believe that Loopwheels and Carbolife push rims are a brilliant combination. Two innovative, well-designed products that make a huge difference to people’s lives every day. This is what good product design is all about!”
Loopwheels and the Carbolife push rims will be on show at Stand H1-02.
