RGK Wheelchairs will be exhibiting its range of compact and lightweight products as part of a 360° solution

28th March 2016

A Staffordshire based manufacturer of custom built wheelchairs will be at the Mobility Roadshow 2016 showcasing its latest range of solutions which remove the physical barriers to active life.

RGK Wheelchairs will be exhibiting its range of compact and lightweight products as part of a 360° solution which are all interchangeable and fit together in different combinations to cater for all kinds of circumstances and abilities.

These products comprise of RGK’s all-rounder TIGA chair, its multi award winning TIGA fx which folds and fits into the smallest spaces possible like the boot* of a car and the overhead storage locker in aeroplanes*, its brand new FrontWheel which enables users to travel across grass, cobbles, mud, gravel and other uneven ground easily by keeping the front castor wheels off the floor at all times, and the new SmartDrive MX2 power assist device from Max Mobility which works with an intelligent wrist control powering users up steep hills and over thick carpet.

The 360° solution has been developed to encourage and inspire this group to take part in dynamic activities as a regular part of their healthy and active lifestyle choices.

“This chair is going to make a huge difference,” explained Alistair. “We visit my parents about three or four times a year in Somerset but because my dad also uses a scooter chair, which takes up a lot of space in the car, my wife and I would need to catch a bus, which limits us to where we can go. The TIGA FX e will now enable us to all fit into one car so we can go wherever we like.”

Their frequent trips to London and family holidays abroad will also be made easier for Alistair, his wife Tina and three children.

In the run up to the Mobility Roadshow, the 360° solution will run across RGK’s social media channels and our website: www.rgklife.com

will be on stand H1-19
