Nottinghamshire company Loopwheels is exhibiting for the third time at the Mobility Roadshow and are offering £100 off a pair of loopwheels to every visitor to their stand, valid for 3 months after the show.
Loopwheels shock-absorbing wheels reduce jolting and vibration for users of manual wheelchairs, and the Mobility Roadshow is an ideal setting to be able to try out the loopwheels on your own chair.
This year the British company is proud to announce that it is now the exclusive UK distributor for CarboLife hand rims. German company CarboLife puts ergonomic design and quality at the heart of its products – just as you might expect from a German company with a background in automotive engineering. This makes it a perfect fit with British designed and made Loopwheels.
The shape of each CarboLife push rim is optimized for different needs of wheelchair users, depending on the degree of hand and finger movement and preferred pushing style. As well as the loopwheels, visitors can feel the full range of CarboLife ergonomic push rims on the Loopwheels stand.
“We always offer visitors to our stand the opportunity to swap out the wheels on their chair for a trial with loopwheels, because the best way to experience the benefits of suspension wheels is to be able to try them yourself on your own chair. It’s really rewarding to see a smile on a visitor’s face when they tell you that their ride felt so much smoother with loopwheels, and see their confidence grow as they go over an obstacle with loopwheels on their chair,” explained the company’s co-founder Gemma Pearce. “At this year’s show we’re looking forward to meeting many new visitors who’ll be trying loopwheels for the first time, as well as catching up with some of our ‘early-adopters’ who have been using loopwheels since 2015”.
Loopwheels launched their shock-absorbing wheels for wheelchairs in 2015, after many years of development and testing. The wheels have stiff carbon composite springs in place of traditional spokes, and it’s these loop-shaped springs that provide the suspension and help you get over kerbs, uneven paving and other obstacles more easily and more comfortably.
Loopwheels are designed and manufactured in the UK, but the small family business is now exporting loopwheels all over the world, with distributors in Europe and the USA. There are now stockists of Loopwheels in 18 countries around the world. People love the technical performance of the wheels, but many love the look and the bright colours too. Loopwheels are available in six colours as well as black, or you can choose to combine more than one colour for your own customized look.
Come and find out for yourself the benefits of suspension loopwheels at the Loopwheels Stand E2 at the Mobility Roadshow.
