Win prizes for your photography ‘on the move’
30 June 2011 - A new competition for disabled
photographers all over the UK
was announced today at the Mobility Roadshow taking place at the East of

Mobility Choice, the charity behind the Roadshow, and The Disabled Photographers’ Society have joined forces on this new competition with the theme On the move.
“Whether on your doorstep, in your locality or further afield, we welcome entries that represent what you have seen on your travels. Use your imagination and skill to capture through your camera the image that you believe epitomises the theme On the Move,” said Thomas Molloy, Chairman, The Disabled Photographers’ Society.
Entries are invited in three age categories - under 12s, 12-18 and over 18. Prizes include a Merlin Annual Pass for a disabled person and carer, which provides entry to a range of top UK attractions such as LEGOLAND Windsor and Madame Tussauds for 12 months, plus Calumet photographic accessories.
“This is another great opportunity for Mobility Choice to partner with a like-minded charity to provide exciting initiatives for people with disabilities,” said Jacqui Jones, Executive Director, Mobility Choice. “We are extremely grateful to Calumet and Merlin Entertainments for their valued support.”
The competition closes on 15th October 2011. Shortlisted and winning entries will be exhibited at Calumet Photographic near Euston Station in London for four weeks from 7th January 2012, with the prize giving ceremony at the same venue on 11th January.
