Cyclefest at the Mobility Roadshow Scotland

If you have any kind of mobility difficulty it doesn’t necessarily mean you can’t take a cycle ride, either solo or with family and friends. Visitors to the Mobility Roadshow Scotland on 17th and 18th September at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston can take part in Cyclefest – a focus on all ability cycling options from tiny trikes to companion, passenger, tandem, hand and wheelchair cycling, with specialist advice and assessment available to assist visitor choice.

Launched at the Peterborough Mobility Roadshow in July, Cyclefest was an instant success, with visitors making the journey to the show specifically for the opportunity to try out a range of options. “We are absolutely amazed at the range and advice available,” said visitor Joanne Connelly, visiting with disabled son James (11) who was elated to be trying out a handcycle - the first time he had been able to ride a bike.
