The Royal Highland Centre is situated on the A8 Edinburgh-Glasgow road to the west of Edinburgh next to Edinburgh Airport, with easy access to the M8/M9 and the Edinburgh City by-pass.  Distance to Edinburgh city centre approx 7 miles and Glasgow 40 miles.

From Edinburgh & East Lothian:

Traffic approaching the showground from Edinburgh & East Lothian via the Gogar Roundabout will be directed down Eastfield Road towards the airport, turning left at the roundabout by the Hilton Hotel.

From the West/West Lothian/Forth Valley:

Traffic approaching the showground from the west, on the M8 via Newbridge Roundabout will turn on to the A8 and enter the showground through new access route to the car park.

By Rail:

An accessible courtesy shuttle bus will operate regularly from Edinburgh Waverley Station on the two show days. National Rail Enquiries 08457 484950 www.nationalrail.co.uk 

Pick-up point at the station: bottom of the North Ramp by Platforms 1/19

Buses depart Edinburgh Waverley Station approx every 45 minutes from 09.30. Return buses from the Royal Highland centre also every 45 minutes from 10.15

Last return bus: 17.15 on Friday, 16.45 on Saturday.

By Air:

The Royal Highland Centre is a 5-minute taxi ride from Edinburgh Airport. It is advised to pre-book your taxi, either before you travel or as you arrive at the airport, by calling 0131 229 2468 (Twentyfourseven) - please advise them if you require a wheelchair-accessible taxi. You then proceed to the Pre-booked Taxi Area.
