The outright winner was Kayleigh Coxhead from Matley School, Peterborough with her concept for a luxury lifestyle wheelchair that provides everything within easy reach - including accessible drink holder, waterproof CD player, extra-grip tyres, luggage locker that also holds a portable ramp for easy access and lots more - designed for land and in water.
Kayleigh was the winner of the 7 - 11 age category, followed by runner-up Laura Mortimer, from the same school. Laura`s Info Assistant for blind shoppers scans items for prices and ingredients.
Ryan White, from Sudbury Upper School in Suffolk, won the 12 - 16 age category with a car-shaped inclusive, interacting play area. Luke Myers, also from Sudbury Upper School was runner-up in this category with his take on a high-tech wheelchair with controls on the wheel.
